Question

If A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6} and B = {2, 4, 6, 8}, find A - B.

Solution

  1. A - B contains elements that are in A but not in B.
  2. From A, remove the elements 2, 4, and 6 because they are also in B.
  3. A - B = {1, 3, 5}.
