Question
What percentage of the expenditure goes to Rent, and what is the amount?
Solution
- Known shares = 30% + 15% + 20% + 10% = 75%.
- Rent share = 100% - 75% = 25%.
- Rent amount = 25% of 40,000 = $10,000.
- Check: 12,000 + 10,000 + 6,000 + 8,000 + 4,000 = 40,000.
